Addison Group is looking for a Bookkeeper for a phenomenal client in Minneapolis! They are present in the Financial Services, Renewable Energy and Development Industries within their business units and are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience processing full cycle AP invoices, communicating with vendors, reconciliations, tax form preparation, year-end reports, full-cycle AR invoice processing, journal entries, Ad hoc projects as assigned and more. The Bookkeeper opening is a full-time position with compensation up to $28/hr depending on applicable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full accounts payable cycle: processing payments to vendors on a routine schedule, creating invoices, reconciling intercompany bills, and verifying the accuracy of vendor invoices and confirming that the correct general ledger account codes are used.
• Prepares tax forms such as 1099’s, and other year-end reports, and issues to vendors, customers and clients.
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions as needed.
• Assists with processing full-cycle AR invoices.
• Posts monthly journal entries, and assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Assists with the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Creates POs related to Accounting Department expenses.
• Maintains filing system.
• Ad hoc tasks when necessary
