The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience with AIA billing and contracts. We are looking for a reliable, dynamic individual to assist in preparing statements that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines under the supervision of a controller. You will be responsible for identifying and preventing discrepancies and helping set up control systems. You must be an organized professional with a great eye for detail. This person should be comfortable generating frequent financial reports for senior management. They should track financial information in a well-organized manner and assist the Controller in all aspects related to finance at the organization. Keep track of accounts payable and receivable.
Duties:
- Generate financial reports for senior leadership
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Support Controller in all financial matters of the organization
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions
- Mange the accounts payables and accounts receivables
- Working with staff accountants as needed
- Work with subcontractors and project managers, create budget, contracts of construction projects.
- Update and maintain accurate financial records, contracts, budgets, tax reports and financial statements
- Perform extensive data entry to ensure all financial data is input into accounting software
- Process invoices and resolve any invoice issues.
Skills:
- AIA Billing and Contracts experience a strong plus
- 3 plus years of experience in Bookkeeping
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and to work under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accounting, bookkeeping, and math skills are required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel: 1 year plus
- Proficient in Quick-books: 2 years Required
- Procore/Construction Management Software a plus

Monday - Friday -
Hours: 9AM- 5:30PM

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a relevant field
- 3 plus years experience Bookkeeping
- Strong technical, analytical, communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Proficient in Quick Books
