Location Description:The Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania facility is 1,120,845 square feet and home to about 470 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits® and 9Lives®. This location has a cannery that produces wet dog food and there is also a Distribution Center on-site. Bloomsburg is home to Bloomsburg University, a municipal airport, a landmark Town Park with many acres of recreational activities, and has one of the largest and longest running fairs in the country. With so much to do and see, Bloomsburg is a great place to live, work and play!
Responsibilities:This position is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the boiler room operation in order to prevent a shut down.

Essential Job Functions:
NOTE: These requirements describe the main duties of the job, but are not considered a detailed description of every duty that may be assigned or required to be performed.
- Test boilers for chemicals – boiler chemistry.
- Regenerate water softeners and de-alkaline.
- Take hourly reading on different pump/boilers.
- Check oil levels.
- Perform temperature checks.
- Operate boilers within Title V permit limits.
- Assure compliance to all quality standards.
- Assure compliance to all GMP requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Possess general knowledge of boiler room operations. This includes knowledge of water chemistry, pipe fitting, basic electrical, basic mechanical and air compressor.
- Must have good mathematical background.
- Have chemical knowledge of oils, solvents and water phosphates.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
