Pay: $21 hourly
Job Summary: Reporting to the Body Shop manager, the Body Quality Assurance Coordinator will ensure quality control through each stage of the metal repair, paint and finish process while maintaining high standards for efficiency and observing all safety requirements. Perform all additional duties assigned by the manager or designated supervisor. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are always followed.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Provide excellent customer service:
- Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment and positive working relationships.
- Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise Management of all serious complaints or incidences.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to all persons with whom they come in contact. Always maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment consistent with company policy.
2. Perform Body Shop duties:
- Run inventory reports for the Body Shop, and print repair orders.
- Ensure parts are ordered for approved repairs. Once the parts are approved by the account, then deliver to the designated technician.
- Provide technicians with their assigned repair orders.
- Create estimates for Body Shop repairs.
- Properly complete all work documentation and entering it in Mitchell or designated tracking system.
- Complete proper inspection in accordance with auction standards (or if necessary, re-inspection) of vehicles upon completion of work in the Body Shop. Properly log the vehicle information upon completion of satisfactory completion of inspection.
- Contact lot manager or designated manager to deliver more cars to the staging area when number of cars available falls below the predetermined level.
3. Other:
- Practice and promote company Core Values
- Ensure all shop area conditions are not a potential threat to employee or customer safety.
- Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee or customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. Report all incidents to Body Shop Manager immediately per auction policy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
- Effective employee relations, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Prior leadership experience in a Body Shop environment preferred.
- Body Tech experience preferred
