NBOA is seeking an insurance professional for an inside-sales position. The Agent will be responsible for selling watercraft insurance policies to customers throughout the United States. Applicants must be driven, team-oriented, computer proficient, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sell over the phone to a wide array of customers, from 18ft bass boat owners to mega yacht owners, is required. FL 2-20 or CSR FL-440 License preferred but not required to start. Marine Insurance Agent Duties and Responsibilities
- Field incoming leads (phone, web, text, fax) from customers and dealerships throughout the US
- Assess clients' needs consult with client on the best coverages to protect their vessel, lives, and livelihood.
- Interact with several different rating systems to collect carrier quotes
- Present the best policy and explain in a concise and professional manner why this is the best policy for clients' needs
- Work through leads efficiently to get them in clients' hands promptly
- Present NBOA's other products (warranty, finance, membership) to each client so they're aware of all NBOA's benefits. Upsell/Cross sell when client shows interest.
