Job Purpose:
Welcome visitors to Boarding and Grooming by greeting, assisting, and directing them appropriately
Duties:
* Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries for boarding or grooming.
* Schedule boarding and/or grooming reservations and appointments
* Check vaccine records to be sure pet is current on vaccines prior to boarding or grooming
* Assist in Veterinary office when needed, answering phones and scheduling appointments, assisting Doctors if needed
* Handle and restrain dogs and cats for boarding and with groomer when needed
* Maintains safe and clean area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Must be comfortable handling all size dogs and cats
* Weekends and holidays a MUST
* Schedule kennel workers for shifts
* Supervise and enforce kennel guidelines and staff
* Cleaning duties included
* Must be able to do nail trims or occasional bath with help on pets

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
