Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our industry leading team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic services and support to individuals with neurodivergent needs including those who are either recovering from TBI and stroke as well as those who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Our clinicians work in home and community settings under the supervision of a the Director of Clinical Services. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by these clients and the ability to develop and implement customized care plans to meet their specific needs.

Responsibilities:

Assess the psychosocial needs of neurodivergent clients. Develop and implement customized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate. Support clients in navigating the healthcare system and accessing necessary resources. Advocate for clients' rights and preferences in treatment and recovery plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development and training activities. Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, families, therapists, and care managers.

Requirements:

Currently certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and maintain a License from the CT Department of Public Health as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Compliance with all applicable training, state licensure, and certification requirements. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent adults. Knowledge of brain injury and stroke recovery principles and best practices. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder and effective treatment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
