DESCRIPTION
This is a regular, full-time, exempt, day shift position.
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is a licensed professional responsible for developing and implementing individual behavioral plans for students in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and protocols. The BCBA plans, implements, and coordinates comprehensive behavioral plans, while coaching and teaching Agency staff and students in the use and importance of these plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active and unrestricted Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required
- Strong experiential background in applied behavioral analysis
- Experience in supporting youth with severe behavioral, developmental, and emotional difficulties in community settings
- Experience in staff training
- Valid California driver’s license
- Criminal record clearance, or formal exemption

Responsibilities:
- Work with team to develop and monitor evidence-based individual treatment plans for children, youth, and families receiving behavioral services.
- Conduct functional assessments of challenging behaviors.
- Provide direct behavior training and support to families and staff
- Ensure the collection and analysis of ongoing student performance data on all behavior goals in student IEPs.
- Review incident reports and all behavior data to ensure that behavior plans are active being implemented in the classrooms and that student safety is a top priority.
