Blogger for The Enrichery (Freelance/Independent Contractor)

This is a remote position.

The Enrichery is seeking a talented and passionate Part-Time Blogger (independent contractor) to join our team. As a leading provider of supplemental education services specializing in one-on-one tutoring and mentoring with a focus on executive functioning, we are dedicated to supporting students and parents from kindergarten through college.

Responsibilities:

• Write one high-quality blog post per week on educational or social issues facing students and/or parents. (see previous entries on our blog)
  

• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  

• Brainstorm and propose engaging blog topics that align with the company's mission and target audience. Collaborate with Director of Marketing to maintain a calendar/schedule of blog topics.
  

• Incorporate SEO best practices to optimize blog posts for search engine visibility; include images to accompany blog posts with awareness of copyright violation guidelines, ensuring that images are not in violation of any copyrights.
  

• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure blog content aligns with overall branding and marketing strategies.
  

• Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  

• Strong research abilities to gather relevant information and data.
  

• Passion for education and a genuine interest in addressing educational and social issues facing students and parents.
  

• Ability to meet deadlines and produce high-quality content consistently.
  

• Previous experience in blogging, content writing, or journalism preferred.
  

• Familiarity with SEO principles and content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
