As a Case Manager you will:
- Advocate and provide problem resolution for needed services to education, housing, mental health, employment, health care, legal aid and social skills.
- Help children 2-21 years of age and their families to navigate the world of Social Services.
- We work collaboratively with family members, funders and service providers to advocate on behalf of the child, ensuring care is coordinated and is effective and responsive to the needs of each child we serve.
- Maintain children in the community setting and allow for transfer of skills to families to become self-sufficient in accessing services independently.
The home office is located in Malvern, PA however this position primarily works in the community and visiting the homes of assigned clients- mostly in the Chester County area. Vehicles are provided for work travel.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

QualificationsEDUCATION: BA/BS undergraduate degree in a Human Services discipline or BA degree in another field other than human services, with at least 12 credits in human services
EXPERIENCE: Experience is a plus.
