As part of our growing organization, we are currently seeking a part-time paid Product Quality and Support Engineer Intern to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona. The candidate will work closely with Noraxon staff assisting with the product testing, technical documentation, and educational content development necessary to support and expand a state-of-the-art biomechanics measurement platform. This might be the internship position for you if you are someone with a strong work ethic, have a passion for solving interesting technical challenges, and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The part-time in-person position offers a maximum of 30 hours per week and is only available to third- or fourth-year BSE students or students in MSE programs.

Primary Duties:
- Set up and perform data collections with traditional or mobile biomechanics lab technologies for 3D motion capture, electromyography, 2D video capture, and kinetics
- Perform manual testing of new hardware and software features being iteratively developed
- Update Instructions for Use and develop other necessary product or testing documentation
- Assist the Technical Support Manager with triaging support tickets
- Assist the Regulatory Affairs Manager with compiling technical documentation
Additional Duties:
- Assist with administrative and operational needs, e.g., shipping preparation
- Assist with production and manufacturing needs like product assembly, calibration, and testing
Experience and Skills Required:
- Working on a degree in Biomechanics, Engineering (Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical), or related technical field
- Internship or work experience in a technical support or QA testing role is preferred
- Experience with biomechanics lab technologies is preferred
- Proficient at "translating" technical information to users with a variety of skill levels
- Ability to quickly learn new software applications and their components
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Strong computer, statistical data analysis, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, MATLAB
- Authorization to work in the United States
