Job description

The Bin Meister will work closely with the Replenishment, Stock and Stow (RSS)/Capacity Manager to support creation and changes to bins, maintain records and lists of bin information coordinate movement of inventory and drive optimal utilization of capacity. The Seasonal Bin Meister will also work closely with Inventory Control/Quality Assurance (IC/QA) to provide data and analytical support for ACES initiatives, root cause investigation of defects, and support to insure compliance to ICQA-related SoX requirements.
Key job responsibilities
• Assists RSR/Capacity Manager with bin capacity management. Provide updates weekly.
• In depth research of defect trends
• Designing queries, compiling data, and generating reports in MS Access and Excel
• Process requests to create new bins or change existing bins, virtually and physically. As the FC Bin Meister, needs to coordinate all bin conversions prior to execution.
• Investigates and resolves bin related problems reported by all departments within the FC.
• Maintains record of floor bin configuration including floor map.
• Manages/deletes non-existent bins.
• Coordinates the movement of inventory.
• Audits bin utilization and gives recommendations on consolidation activities:
1. Identify consolidation opportunities.
2. Help create on modify consolidation plans.
3. Coordinate the execution of the consolidation plans or projects
• Maintains and updates building pick paths with the Picking department and Pick PT.

• Manages bin label maintenance program.
• Works in all RSR process paths as directed.
• Back up for Process Assistant duties to cover time off

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- High school or equivalent
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical and logic skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Good organizational skills.
- Excellent problem solving skill.
- Knowledge of pick paths used in this facility a plus.
- Knowledge of bin types and configurations desired.
- Initiative to develop tools, data collection processes, and data management systems
- Proven ability to clearly communicate with managers and associates at all levels
- Proven ability to work productively and efficiently in an independent setting
