- Use and implement Revit modeling software coordinating with engineering staff
- Assist in the company development of computer aided drafting / modeling system standards, practices, and techniques for the new division
- Have extensive experience with all Autodesk building information modeling software and CAD software
- Assist with field work to perform as-built drawings, perform onsite assessments, and generate new models from existing conditions
- Perform routine to complex BIM/CAD assignments for all MEP systems on various types of projects
- Develop increased proficiency in software operation with resulting increase in productivity on projects for your team
- Analyze electronic sketches, notes, redlines, and other input material to determine the best approach to complete modeling
- Apply drafting / modeling judgement and make decisions with respect to drawings and engineering input interpretation
- Coordinate all modeling efforts and clash detection with internal architectural staff, other subconsultants, and clients
- Review work performed to determine accuracy with input from engineering staff, other project team members, and principal/supervisors
- Develop into a successful designer to assist our licensed engineering staff
- Associate degree in engineering, Drafting Technology, or formalized BIM training accreditation from Autodesk
- Three+ years in MEP design industry
- Proficiency with Autodesk products including Revit MEP software, AutoCAD MEP software
- General understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, piping systems
