Duties and Responsibilities:

• As a driver, you will be responsible for providing transportation service to wheelchair users
• Safely drive and operate vehicle
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Be EXTREMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED
• Use mobile device for routing information to pick passenger up and drive to destination
• Regular assistance to wheelchair users, some of whom may weigh up to or exceed 400 pounds, inclusive of their wheelchairs. Additionally, a portion of these wheelchairs is manually operated. Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this position:
• 1. Physical Capacity: Applicants should possess the physical capability to assist and handle wheelchair users and their wheelchairs, which may weigh 400+ pounds. This includes the ability to provide support with manual wheelchairs when necessary.
• 2. Health Considerations: Individuals with pre-existing health conditions that may be exacerbated by the physical demands of assisting wheelchair users with heavy wheelchairs are not eligible for this position. Safety and well-being, both for employees and wheelchair users, are of utmost importance.
• We prioritize the safety and comfort of all involved parties and seek candidates who can fulfill these physical requirements without compromising their own well-being. Your health and safety are paramount considerations for this role.
• Service animal disclaimer: In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for providing transportation services to individuals accompanied by service animals. Therefore, individuals with allergies or an inability to accommodate service animals will not be eligible to work in the operator position.
• Schedules are not guaranteed. They may change on business needs and vehicle ability, as well, as performance.
• Compensation and Benefits:
• 100% of Tips paid out to employees
• Starting at $20/hour plus tips plus incentives

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug tests as well as random drug testing throughout employment.
• Authorized to work in the U.S
• Must have a valid Massachusetts Driver's License
• UBER or LYFT driving experience is a PLUS

Job Types: Full-time (Monday-Friday), Part-time (Saturday-Sunday)

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
