Job Details

Our Client is looking to add a BIM Specialist (Full-Time) to our team in Alpharetta, GA. The successful candidate will work with the BIM/Engineering Department, project managers, general contractor customers, and field superintendents in design/build projects and other contracted work.
Responsibilities & Essential Duties

• Perform BIM and drafting duties under the direction of the BIM Manager
• Model systems in 2D/3D and generate plans, details, isometrics, and specifications for projects using CAD software
• Work with the BIM Manager and project workflow to establish and maintain consistent graphic standards on individual assigned projects
• Coordinate 3D models with other trades via coordination meetings
• Proactively communicate with project managers and field superintendents during the drafting and construction process to resolve current and anticipated challenges
• Visit jobsites as necessary to aide in coordination process or to address any issues
• Be professional and utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact regularly with customers (internal and external)
• Be self-motivated and take pride in all work and strive to provide the best solutions possible

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience with plumbing/HVAC components and building elements with the ability to lay out and detail in Revit
• Bachelor’s or Associates degree in design/drafting
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Navisworks
• Fluent with Microsoft office products
