Responsibilities:
- BIM Development: Assist in the development and implementation of BIM processes and workflows to support the construction of the manufacturing facility.
- Model Maintenance: Collaborate with project stakeholders to maintain and update BIM models throughout the construction process, ensuring that they accurately reflect the as-built conditions on site.
- Coordination: Work closely with the project team to coordinate BIM activities, including clash detection, model coordination, and resolution of conflicts.
- Data Management: Assist in the organization and management of BIM-related data, including model files, documentation, and project information.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to project team members on BIM tools and workflows, helping to ensure that they are utilized effectively throughout the construction process.
- Turnover Documentation: Assist in the preparation of BIM deliverables for turnover to the site team, including as-built models, drawings, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Some experience or coursework in BIM technology and processes.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
