This position is full-time. Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7am - 5:30pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at:

We offer 2 weeks of paid training (Will be training with a trainer/production and in a hands on capacity for 2+ weeks). The hours during training will depend on the scheduled training. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process 3rd party denials, payments, and patient remittance.
- Comply with departmental Business Rules and Standard Operating Procedures
- Focus efforts on posting cash and denials promptly and accurately
- Interpret explanation of benefits for appropriate follow up action
- Communicate and collaborate with members or providers to evaluate claims errors / issues, using clear, simple language to ensure understanding
- Conduct data entry and rework for adjudication of claims
- Work on various other projects as needed
- Meet the performance goals established for the position in the areas of: efficiency, accuracy, quality, patient and client satisfaction and attendance

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of experience in A / R, Billing, and Insurance, OR Healthcare
- Ability to use computers and Windows personal computer applications, which includes keyboard and navigation skills and the ability to learn new computer programs.
- Previous work experience, including exceptional data entry proficiency and accuracy
- Previous EOB experience
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM and use a 10 key keypad

- Previous experience with cash posting
- Previous Microsoft Excel experience

- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)

Soft Skills:
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment requiring strong multi - tasking and problem solving skills
