SalaryPrivately owned, fast paced Physical Therapy Billing Company is seeking a dynamic team player to join our team. Outpatient Physical Therapy Billing and Insurance KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! MUST have an outgoing personality mixed with professionalism and organization.
Our company works with Outpatient Physical Therapy clinics handling their outpatient PT billing needs. The ideal candidate for the post is someone who has a strong background in Outpatient Physical Therapy Medical Billing, Account Follow Up and Posting.
This position is work from home/telecommuting only. Salary range $16-$18.00/hour based on experience.
Must have a quiet, private home office set up.
Primary Responsibilities
Billing out primary & secondary claims (within 24 hours of receipt)
EMR system reporting to accounting * Prefer experience in A2C, Therabill, TheraOffice, Prompt, and WEBPT
Maintaining Un-Billed List
Electronic claims are batched and sent through clearinghouse
Flagging denials-checked, corrected and re-billed
Daily posting & balancing money (insurance and patient)
Data entry into EMR system
Cash posting
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in outpatient PT billing with a strong focus on posting payments (Post insurance and patient payments promptly, accurately and efficiently)
Must be proficient in the use of one of today’s EMR systems for PT billing. TheraOffice, Clinic Controller (A2C), Therabill, Prompt & WEB PT is a plus!
Experience working with Medicare and various commercial insurance carriers (Aetna, CareFirst BCBS, CIGNA etc.) and must know the differences between plans (ex., HMO versus PPO).
Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness with all reporting.
Must be willing to work closely with a team leader as part of a three person team.
Must be reliable and responsible to work independently with minimum supervision.
Looking for superior organizational skills and good communication in order to work proficiently with co-workers and clients.
