Purpose
Secure Shredding and Recycling (SSR) is committed to protecting its clients’ confidential information through providing NAID-certified services such as shredding, record destruction and e-Waste recycling. Due to growing demand for our services, we are looking to add a new role of Billing Coordinator / Customer Service Rep to our team.

Role and Responsibilities
- Undergo Accounts Receivable training by A/R Assistant Manager on all customer billing activities.
- In the absence of A/R Assistant Manager, execute on all customer billing activities including but not limited to:
Receiving customer payment
Submitting bank deposits
Clearing of customer invoices
Processing all credit card and ACH customer payments
- Participate in collection efforts of past due invoices.
- Audit customer accounts as necessary.
- Undergo Customer Service training on all Customer Service issues.
- Serve as liaison to customers on all Customer Service issues.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to successfully resolve all Customer Service issues.
- Accurately and completely document all billing and Customer Service activities as required by company policies and standard processes.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required skills and qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently so as to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and team members.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Some billing and Customer Service experience required.
- Possess these core competencies: positive and professional attitude, customer-focused, always do the right thing, commitment to teamwork.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when interacting with customers over the phone.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Outstanding attention-to-detail.
- Exceptional organization skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as multi-task when necessary.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Outlook and MS Excel, in particular).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
