Position Overveiw
A Billing Clerk/Customer Service Representative will provide prompt, courteous, and effective customer service to customers regarding their purchase orders, shipment status, and billing questions. Other responsibilities include general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for services rendered. Support will be provided by clearly communicating solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner coming from a place of understanding for the customers concerns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming customer calls and email inquiries related to billing, product support, and warranties
- Assist customers’ requests
- Escalate calls to technical support
- Intermediate between various departments
- Follow up on inquiries until enclosure with satisfactory results
- Communicate with customers via email / calls for payments or other information
- Verify accuracy of billing data, correcting any errors
- Create itemized statements, bills, invoices, and other necessary billing documents
- Assist with tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and execution skill
- Friendly individual with ability to communicate well and handle problematic/difficult matters professionally
- Able to multi-task and handle high volume of activities in a fast-moving environment
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills; computer networking skill will be a plus
Experience
- Associate Degree (preferred)
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Billing: 2 years (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
- Spanish (Preferred)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
