Supervisor:Billing and Payroll Manager
Job Responsibilities

- Prepare / review bi-weekly payroll runs for accuracy and completeness
- Review revised payroll deductions for accuracy and completeness after annual open enrollment, for new employees, and for employees with a change in position or compensation
- Ensure terminated employees are removed /inactivated from payroll system in a timely manner
- Spearhead research and resolution of payroll related matters (i.e., treatment of wage garnishments, child support, uber account usage, etc.)
- Review billing for accuracy daily and semi-monthly
- Semimonthly, period end billing process
- Process authorizations and payments from government payers as needed
- Review all new client files for accuracy and compliance
- Complete employment/wage verifications for employees as needed
- Submit invoices, care logs, & documentation requests to long-term care insurance carriers in a timely manner
- Collect and record deposits for new clients
- Upon payment of final invoice for deactivated clients, ensure deposits are refunded on a timely basis
- Oversee collections process, review A/R aging semi-monthly and follow-up on past due accounts
- Answer the phone and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare and distribute daily scorecard summarizing key client and caregiver statistics
- Strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes throughout the lifecycle of an employee or client in relation to payroll and billing processes, respectively
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, customer service and problem-solving skills required
- College degree desired; Prior experience considered in lieu of education
- Experience with payroll and billing/client tracking systems preferred, but not required
- Advanced computer skills (excel, other)
Conditions of Employment:
As a condition of employment candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screen and employees will be asked to pass annual background checks as well as periodic/random drug screens.
Work Schedule is open for discussion but will likely be a combination of 4 - 8 hour shifts 4 days per week (M-F).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
