NuEnergen is hiring a Billing and Collections Specialist as a full-time, permanent employee to work out of their White Plains, NY office. The Billing and Collections specialist is a critical role that will assist the CFO in all duties pertaining to invoicing and Collections.
As the Billing and Collections Specialist you will:
- Attend monthly meetings with Engineers and prepare detailed invoices on a job-by-job basis in QuickBooks desktop for review by the CFO
- Track subcontractor invoices and create and e-mail check requests to the CFO once the subcontractor achieves the specified benchmark and after the client has paid EES for the subcontracted work
- Review EES expense reports for accuracy and compliance with HR guidelines, scan and e-mail them to the CFO along with all the backup documentation
- Follow up with e-mails and phone calls to collect delinquent Accounts Receivables and meet with the CFO and Office Manager to review the delinquent list once a week
- Input and track all costs in Excel and generate reports on the ongoing profitability on a job-by-job basis
- Perform account analyses and other special projects as required from time to time by the CFO or President of EES
In order to be successful in the role you must possess:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well on your own
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently solve problems and think creatively.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
A competitive compensation plan is outlined below:
- Base compensation is targeted in the $65K- $75K range.
- Benefits include a 401-K pension and profit-sharing plan targeting 10% profit-sharing per year
- 401-K plan has a 4% match
- 10 PTO and 5 Sick days per year
- We pay 50% of health insurance for employee coverage only
