Why we're looking for you
We're looking for a talented and motivated Billing Analyst to join our small but mighty Finance team. This person will own the entire billing process plus support our finance team with other related projects and initiatives.
This role is 100% remote and based in the Latin America region.
The impact you will have
- Manage and execute the entire billing process for Stripe transactions, including sending reminders and processing adjustments.
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and initiate collections procedures.
- Reconcile Stripe transactions with Salesforce and internal database, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to resolve billing disputes and inquiries.
- Analyze billing data to identify trends, make recommendations for improvements, and support financial forecasting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Stripe's features and updates, ensuring compliance and optimization of billing processes.
- Develop and maintain documentation for billing and collections procedures.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to Stripe transactions.
- Elevate accounting hygiene by streamlining and refining the billing process for impeccable financial management.
- Contribute to and/or lead ad hoc projects as business needs arise.
Who you'll work with
- This role reports to our Finance Lead.
- You will partner closely with the CFO, Launch (Customer Onboarding), Customer Experience, and Product teams.
Minimum requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of billing, accounts receivable, accounting, or finance experience.
- Required prior experience with Stripe billing.
- Fully fluent in English (C2), with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Solid computer skills required, including MS Excel.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle unique billing scenarios.
- Extremely organized, with an eye for precision and a love for keeping things tidy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Lifelong learner mindset and commitment to professional growth and development.
- Bachelor's (or equivalent degree) in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Experience with SaaS and/or startups is highly preferred.
Pay and benefits
- The estimated yearly salary for this role is the local equivalent to $20,000 - $30,000 USD
- This position will be eligible for additional benefits depending on experience and location.
