Overview of the Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing Network Administration/Operations systems support with extensive interaction with bluepeak product, network operations, billing, engineering, customer care, field, and other internal customers.

Provide coordination and support of Billing (ICOMS) updates and activities. Coordinating the flow of all documentation surrounding any changes to existing infrastructure, software, ongoing projects, systems, etc.  Coordinate, document and communicate, all requests/responses with the cross functional teams. Support the ICOMS billing system with adds, updates and changes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Support development and implementation of policies, procedures, documentation, related to Network Administration Support and Product Support
  • Manage special projects related to Billing System (ICOMS) updates, add and changes.
  • Evaluate and improve business processes.
  • Evaluating the efficiency of established processes, developing improvement strategies, and facilitating changes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Generate reports, as well as identify trends and patterns to help improve business operations.
  • Support, document and implement Billing System (ICOMS) billing rate changes.
  • Provide Billing System (ICOMS) report extraction as required.
  • Document and implement Billing System (ICOMS) updates, adds and changes as required.
  • Provide next level support to Network Administration Analyst.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving operational processes, such as system integrations, process automation, new technology implementation or upgrades as needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Foster relationships, address concerns, and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for assigned products, providing guidance and expertise to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Provide user acceptance testing for billing system (ICOMS) upgrades, releases, and enhancements.
  • Ensure customer statements are generated correctly with the appropriate services, charges, and messages.
  • Consults with all departments to improve business operations through the billing system (ICOMS)
  • Provide system support with 3rd party applications that integrate with billing system (ICOMS)
  • Work with the Network Operations and Product team to ensure that milestones are met for production support and special projects.

  •  Two to Four years hands-on experience with billing/customer care systems.  (ICOMS preferred)
  • Candidates must possess the ability to multitask, problem-solving, and clear-thinking abilities in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and self-motivation, with a willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team.
  • Superior interpersonal skills with emphasis on conflict resolution, building relationships, and finding solutions to conflicting priorities.
  • Must be detail-oriented, enjoy working with complex projects, and have excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a large service Provider IP and Telephony Networks is a plus.
