Overview
This position is responsible for translating meter data for the purpose of billing customer accounts and working with CCS/SAP, MV90 System, and Fieldnet, WattNet Plus, EnergyIP as well as other systems as required. The highest degree of accuracy and timeliness is mandatory.
This is a remote position but may be required to come into the office for training and occasional team meetings. This position could be located in Louisville or Lexington, KY.

Responsibilities
Must be able to work well as a team member, manage relationships, and exercise professional judgement. Imports and edits meter interval data used for load research and billing large industrial, municipal and commercial customers. Data is received via hand-held import or remote interrogation into MV90 translation system. Assists both internal and external customers with MV90 data and translations in support of SAP/ CCS billing and other related questions. Analyzes the accuracy of billing determinants for power factor, time-of-day, combined, and curtailable service rider accounts. Where accuracy is questionable, use analytical skills to estimate the above information. Input this information into MV90 translation system and transfer to SAP/CCS. Creates and updates the schedules for the automated processing of remote interrogations for select bill and substation customers. Ability to analyze statistical data, records, documents, and technical information. Strong analytical skills. Must have good communication and organization skills. The highest degree of accuracy and timeliness is mandatory, as errors will result in incorrect bills being mailed to customers. Must be able to multitask and take ownership of and resolve problems. Identifies and analyzes data, program or equipment problems taking corrective action as required including but not limited to restoration of data files, reprocessing records, editing these records for estimated billing. Work with other employees to resolve problems. Processes various daily, monthly, and annual reports in a timely manner as well as handling requests for special reports from internal and external customers. Ensures errors are minimal as errors may result in incorrect billing of the company's largest customers. Performs other duties as assigned by team leader.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL_EXPERIENCE-An Associate degree in business or other related field and a minimum of three years of experience in financial/billing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience on a year for year basis is required. Proficient with PC word processing and spreadsheet applications (Excel) is required and the ability to analyze data and perform complicated rate calculations with multiple components. Effective communication skills in dealing with customers and fellow employees. Must be able to work with moderate supervision.;SPECIAL_QUALIFICATIONS-Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance preferredor another related field preferred. Technical Skills: Experience using SAP/CCS/EIP system a plus. Frequent contact with employees in other departments to exchange information, answer billing questions, etc.;WORK_CONDITIONS-Normal office environment.;PHYSICAL_EFFORTS-Primarily sitting with some standing, walking, stooping, etc.
