Bilingual Special Education Teacher - Fort Collins, Co

We are actively seeking a passionate and Bilingual (Spanish) Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team in Fort Collins, CO. This full-time position is available immediately and extends until the end of the school year. The successful candidate will work with an Early Childhood caseload, providing specialized instruction and support to young learners with unique needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Bilingual Instruction: Deliver specialized instruction in both English and Spanish to meet the diverse needs of young learners in the Early Childhood program.
2. Individualized Educational Plans: Develop and implement individualized educational plans for students with special needs.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
4. Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
5. Parental Involvement: Foster positive relationships with Spanish-speaking parents and caregivers, providing updates on student progress and involving them in their child's educational journey.

Qualifications:

1. Early Childhood Certification (EC) and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification.
2. Fluency in both English and Spanish.
3. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field.
4. Experience working with young children with special needs.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
