Description
The ideal candidate should possess the necessary skills to effectively utilize power cutting tools. Must have sharp attention to detail, extensive knowledge of carbon fiber and fiberglass properties, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment proficiently.
Responsibilities
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and consistently wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate a power cutting tool with precision to cut carbon fiber or fiberglass materials to the necessary length.
- Demonstrate the ability to read work orders and precisely record batch/lot numbers for inventory purposes.
- Thoroughly examine raw materials and identify any defects, utilizing accurate Record Keeping skills, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of regularly used equipment as necessary.
- Warehouse responsibilities require teamwork, with occasional cooperation necessary as demand increases.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
- Candidates are expected to wear a dust mask, Tyvek hooded coverall, gloves, safety glasses, and safety shoes.
- Able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to details and work with precision.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively follow instructions.
- Basic proficiency in using computers (MS Word).
- Perform any other assigned tasks as required.
