Smash My Trash of Paramus New Jersey

Compensation: Up to $65,000.00 per year or more including base pay, commissions, and residuals

Smash my Trash of Paramus is immediately hiring an experienced account executive/salesperson for our Area Sales Manager. This preferred applicant will have an existing relationship with Paramus businesses in the waste disposal, manufacturing, construction, or transportation industries. As the Area Sales Manager for Smash My Trash of Paramus, you will be promoting and selling our Smash services to industrial, manufacturing, remodeling, and construction businesses in the area and adding to our existing routes of happy “Smash My Trash” customers. You will also manage and support existing customers, working with the inside sales team and our drivers.

We are the biggest thing that has come to the waste disposal industry since the trash can! Our on-wheel technology literally smashes the trash in a dumpster by 70 to 80%! As the Area Sales Manager for Smash My Trash of Paramus, you will enjoy:

As the Area Sales Manager for Smash My Trash of Paramus, you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting directly to the owner of “Smash My Trash of Paramus”.

  • Creating customer proposals, presenting them to prospective customers and following up on those presentations to complete the contract and sale.

  • Making sales calls and contacts to industrial, manufacturing, remodeling companies, construction businesses, and anyone else with a roll-off dumpster in a “route-like” fashion to maximize your time and get our Smash My Trash trucks smashing as much as possible!

  • Setting face-to-face appointments, cold calling, maintaining customer information, and closing contracts. All the stuff that you have been doing in your other sale jobs. This position is primarily face-to-face selling.

  • Maintaining client relationships to ensure long-term happiness for our customers. (And ongoing residual commissions for you!)

  • Must be willing to assist in the operational side of the business if need be.

  • Working as a team member and facilitating SMASH demos to prospects with our Smash My Trash truck driver.

  • Representing Smash My Trash of Paramus at association meetings, local events, conferences, and trade shows.

  • Utilize marketing collateral to help create leads for your route business.

Requirements and qualifications for the Area Sales Manager for Smash My Trash of Paramus:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years doing Outside Sales, B2B sales or something very similar in the Paramus New Jersey area.

  • At least a high school diploma and a degree from the school of hard knocks.

  • Spanish Bilingual Preferred

  • Someone who is adaptable, flexible, and extremely organized and detail-oriented.

  • Good time management and self-motivation.

  • A team player who works well with others and can collaborate.

  • Has a good since of humor and gets a kick every time our SMASH Truck crushes our clients’ trash!

  • Is a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and a client service mentality.

  • Is goal oriented and driven to success by achieving monthly sales goals.

  • Wants to EARN great money by providing incredible customer service, hustling, and generating long term business.

  • Can prioritize tasks, deadlines, and maintain consistent productivity in a fast-paced environment.

  • Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

  • Is willing to participate in a background check and drug screen.
