Position Announcement:Bilingual Nurse Aide Instructor

Position Description: Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado invites qualified persons to apply for the position of Bilingual Nurse Aide Instructor. This is a grant funded position for spring semester 2024. This position will provide instruction in the classroom, lab and clinical setting and direct the diverse Nurse Aide students in needed skills to be a successful in the Nurse Aide profession. The instruction will be provided in English with Spanish language support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Nursing license in good standing, LPN or RN
  • One year of nursing experience and supervision of CNAs
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish verbally

Contract Specifics: This position will be an adjunct instructor for spring semester 2024. Start date mid-Jan and end date mid-May. Teaching days: Wednesdays and Fridays in the afternoon with an instructor salary of $14,000.
