Job Description:

The Community Leasing Consultant individual is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with market surveys, showing, leasing, and moving in prospective community members. Update unit availability, process rental applications and maintenance requests, and handle collections in accordance with company standards. Clerical and phone support, maintaining accurate community member files, and managing a calendar of move-ins are among your administrative responsibilities. Demonstrate ability to address resident complaints effectively and conduct move-out unit walks. Perform any additional tasks or duties assigned by the supervisor.

The position requires physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and may occasionally be required to climb. The Community Leasing Consultant should be available to work extended hours and weekends when needed. Regular attendance and participation in company functions and events are also expected. To excel in this role, you should possess strong skills in addressing the needs of community members, prospects, and vendors. This includes handling high-stress situations, exhibiting leadership abilities, and demonstrating excellent communication, collection, administrative, organizational, time management, and customer service skills. Bilingual proficiency is required, along with a strong sales background and knowledge of fair housing laws.

Proficiency in computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and software programs such as Yardi, Voyager, LRO, Entrata, and Resident Check, is preferred. A high school education or equivalent is necessary, and fluency in English, intermediate mathematical skills, and proficiency in using resident management software are expected. One year of experience in a service industry is preferred.
