Form of workWe are searching for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Accounts Payable Clerk will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transitions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.
Essential Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices/expenses reports, recording entries.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Process and audit freight bills against accrual.
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks.
- Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
- Print and maintain Accounts Payable files.
- Assist in month end closing.
- Assist with accounts receivable recording.
- Perform and reconcile physical inventory.
- Assist with special project when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
The successful candidate should have excellent computer skills; detailed oriented, exceptional problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
- Bilingual in Mandarin
- Associate degree in Accounting
- Experience with Accounting software such as Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
