Our fast-paced Immigration firm is looking for a friendly bilingual (English and Spanish) Paralegal.
At Griffith Immigration Law, we are immigrants serving immigrants. We fight for our clients, their cases and their family. We handle Immigration matters with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of State (DOS) and Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
We are looking for a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal who can help the busy attorneys, senior paralegals, and clients at our firm. You will be responsible for handling USCIS related forms such as I-130 Petition for Alien Relative, I-485 Adjustment of Status forms, I-765 Employment Authorization forms, I-864 Affidavit of Supports, N400 Naturalization forms, and many more. You will also be responsible for meeting with clients, answering phone calls and emails. Additionally, you will also assist with preparing legal documents, and perform any other tasks as needed to ensure the USCIS team is operating efficiently.
If you work well in a fast-paced environment and consistently deliver a high-quality work product, we will give you the training and tools to perform in a fast paced, multitasking Immigration firm. The starting rate for a Legal Assistant is $23/hr ($47,840.00 per year).
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high volume of cases.
- Interviewing initial clients to understand needs, gather and organize documentation from clients.
- Translate between English and Spanish verbally and in writing during appointments.
- Prepare and edit letters, retainers, and legal documents.
- Keep records of completed work, client interactions, transactions, and comments through the Practice Panther Software.
- Maintaining client files online and offline.
- Updating clients on progress and explaining next steps.
- Preparing forms and filing paperwork.
- Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bilingual Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (outlook email, outlook calendar, Microsoft teams, word, excel and adobe).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
