Bilingual Immigration Attorney

Brown Law, PLLC is a boutique immigration law firm that specializes in exceptionally high quality legal representation to immigrant clients before USCIS, the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Associate Attorney Position. Brown Law is growing and seeking to add a bilingual (Spanish and English) associate attorney to our team to represent the firm’s existing clients. The associate would meet with the firm's clients to prepare court filings and declarations for their immigration cases; write and prepare trial briefs; attend court hearings and litigate trials in Immigration Court; as well as file appeals and conduct negotiations with Immigration officials and prosecutors. Our ideal candidate is a strong legal writer who is organized, detail-oriented and able to effectively manage deadlines. As the firm's clientele mainly speaks Spanish, the Firm is considering only bilingual candidates that speak English and Spanish.

Licensing Requirements. As exclusive practitioners of federal immigration law, we will consider associate attorneys barred in any U.S. jurisdiction. However, our ideal candidate would be barred in Virginia or Maryland (or eligible to waive into either state in the future).

Compensation and Benefits.

· $95,000 to $120,000 annual salary depending on professional legal experience, state where admitted, language skills, and knowledge of immigration law.

· Quarterly Performance Bonuses up to $3750 per quarter (totaling up to $15,000 annually).

Associates are not expected to work more than 45 hours per week and we do not ever work on weekends or holidays or late in the evening.
