What you’ll do: THIS POSITION IS SERVICING THE EAST COAST AND WILL WORK ON THEIR TIME-ZONE.
Provides the human resource functions for two districts including hiring, tacking, and compliance. These positions will be responsible for conducting background checks and fingerprinting on all potential applicants and employees in order to meet ORR/ROP policies/procedures. They will maintain accurate personnel records. The Human Resources Generalist will onboard all new staff and provide benefits administration. This position reports to the Senior District HR Director.
To be considered, you should:
- Be fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or related field and two years of Human Resources experience; or six years of equivalent experience as a Human Resources Generalist may be substituted.
- Have a minimum of two years of human resources experience in employee relations, training and/or employment and knowledge of Federal and State employment law, Human Resources policies and practices and governmental licensing requirements.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
