Our Farmers Insurance agency in Clackamas seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated individual, with effective time management, and a positive attitude to join our team. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will provide exceptional Customer Service to our current clients and new prospects, as well as work to support the agency team.
Candidates should have Customer Service in a professional office or in a retail setting. Need to have the ability to work in a team environment, and a professional telephone presence.
Must be able to pass state insurance license exam in time (We will help you with) and meet continuing education requirements. This position will be part time, between 15-20 hours a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Property & Casualty Insurance License is not required but preferred.
This is not a remote position and will be inside our agency in Clackamas, OR.
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hr based on experience and licenses

Responsibilities
- Process customer policy change requests.
- Handle all incoming calls from clients and potential customers.
- Take and process premium payments from clients.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Maintain client relationships with follow up phone calls.
- Call customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
- Schedule appointments for Agent to meet prospective customers.
Requirements
- Bilingual: English and Spanish is required.
- Minimum one (1) year of Customer Service or sales experience in a professional office setting or retail environment is required.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.
- Familiar with multiple computer platforms (Windows, Google, etc.) is required
- Previous insurance or banking industry experience highly preferred.
