Plumbing & Concrete construction/service company located in the Willowbrook area near FM1960 and 249 is currently in need of a bilingual, full-time, front desk Administrative Assistant to join our friendly atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will be someone with a cheerful, friendly, personality, self -motivated, excellent phone etiquette, communication, customer service skills, and able to multi-task. Must be highly punctual, have impeccable attendance, be professional, and eager to learn.
This is a great position for someone who is trying to move into an office environment with a steady, weekly schedule, and weekends off. It is a position that will keep you busy and is crucial for the office to run efficiently. We highly stress punctuality and great attendance is necessary.
Duties include:
-Answering all incoming calls and directing to appropriate person and distributing messages via email.
-Opening and Forwarding lines to answering service daily
-Greeting visitors and assisting applicants with forms
-Sorting, stamping, and distributing mail
-Some filing
-Processing Insurance Certificate Requests
-Distributing faxes via email
-Making copies as needed of forms and manuals
-Maintaining all office supplies, ordering, and picking up
-Keeping office neat and organized
- Assisting and completing tasks requested by owners of the company
-Assisting employees with requests
-Scheduling office equipment repairs & service
-Data entry for Accounts payable
-Sorting & Receiving Ship tickets
-Sorting A/P invoices
-Help decorate office for Holidays and assist in organizing events
-Assisting other departments when needed.
-Other duties as assigned. (This list isn’t all inclusive)
-Assist project managers with setting up new jobs, updating their job boards, and printing plans as needed.
Position is available immediately. Business casual atmosphere. Business hours are Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm.
Skills/ Requirements
Bilingual preferred. Must have computer experience and be internet savvy. (Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook) Knowledge of creating and editing spreadsheets.
Starting hourly rate is negotiable based on experience. Starting around $33-$37k/yr but negotiable.
After a year of employment we offer 1 week vacation, After 90 days you are eligible for 6 paid holidays and health benefits.
Background and drug test required.
