Job Overview

The Mattress & Worry No More Advisor actively develops growth opportunities for the Big-Ticket business, enhancing sales, profit, and the customer experience. They collaborate with Central, Regional, and Divisional business partners, as well as Store leaders, to ensure consistency and comprehension of process and system solutions. Additionally, the Advisor leads project tracks focused on discovery, analysis, and deployment. They establish strong liaisons with various Macy’s Central business units, including Store Operations & Asset Protection, Supply Chain, Store/Corporate Communication, Marketing, Selling Support Services, Shortage Control, and Learning & Leadership, as well as Division and Regional partners.


What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with MCCS, supply chain partners, stores, and support vendors to resolve customer service issues effectively.
  • Identify areas for improvement in customer service processes through root cause analysis and collaboration across departments.
  • Take the lead on Big Ticket projects that involve communications regarding People, Performance, and Projects.
  • Develop training curriculum, strategy, structure, logistics, and deliver training sessions for Regional Teams and Stores.
  • Serve as the communication liaison and gatekeeper between the central organization and stores.
  • Establish, foster, and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Take ownership of Training Alerts and Standard Best Practice documents, working closely with Central Communications, Learning and Development, Human Resources, and Associate Relations to develop standardized materials that are universally supported within our organization, thereby directly benefiting customers, employees, and stores.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Skills You Will Need

Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint: Skilled in using these tools for data analysis, documentation, and presentations. Also proficient in accounting and invoice management.

Organization: Demonstrates strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Leadership: Exhibits drive, motivation, and willingness to lead and collaborate with others.

Business Acumen: Possesses a good understanding of business principles and practices.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Store travel is expected up to 75% of the time.
