NexGen IOT Solutions is searching for a Big Data Lead for a Direct Placement assignment with one of our premier clients in the USA.
Role: Big Data Lead
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Tampa, FL- Hybrid
Experience: 12 + years
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Big Data applications using Spark (Java or Scala), Hadoop, Kafka, Hive, HBase, MongoDB
- Mentor a team (onshore/offshore model) for Big Data developers.
Experience & Skillset
MUST-HAVE
- Total IT / development experience of 10 to 12+ years (5+ years in Big Data)
- Experience in Big Data Lead role for at least 2 years.
- Experience in Spark (primary Java or Scala) developing Big Data applications on Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, HBase, MongoDB
- Deep knowledge of Kafka and Spark with Java libraries to develop and debug complex data engineering challenges.
- Experience in developing sustainable data driven solutions with current new generation Data Technologies to drive our business and technology strategies
- Exposure in deploying applications on CDH or Cloud platforms.
- Proficient in designing and developing Realtime Ingestion Framework using Kafka and Java.
- At least 4 years of developing applications in Agile with Monitoring, Build Tools, Version Control, Unit Test, TDD, CI/CD, Change Management to support DevOps
- At least 6 years of development experience on Data technologies.
