Adecco Permanent Recruitment, along with its client in the construction sector is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Bidding Coordinator Assistant.
Position Overview:
As a Bidding Coordinator Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the bidding process for construction projects. You will be responsible for coordinating bid invitations, reviewing project specifications, and liaising with contractors to ensure accurate and timely submissions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

You will be responsible for coordinating bid invitations, reviewing project specifications, and liaising with contractors to ensure accurate and timely submissions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive bid invitations and review project drawings to identify precast/cast stone specifications.
- Utilize project subscriptions to identify upcoming projects involving precast/cast stone components.
- Download project drawings and specifications for take-off purposes and maintain bid date records.
- Research and identify general contractors (GCs) and masonry contractors (MCs) involved in bidding processes.
- Reach out to contractors for each project to inform them of our intent to quote.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive bidders list with accurate contact information.
- Monitor and track all project addendums and updates affecting bidding processes.
- Generate Request for Information (RFI) documents as necessary.
- Coordinate the timely submission of quotes on bid day and follow up to determine the successful bidder.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with GCs and Masonry Contractors.
- Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience in bid coordination preferred.
Pay Details: $45,000.00 per year
