It is the responsibility of the OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment) Sourcing Manager to lead the sourcing and supply-chain strategy for all operating supply categories for Boyd Gaming and its properties. This includes developing and implementing category strategies across the enterprise, using strategic sourcing processes to bring value to the company, by developing and conducting competitive RFP’s, negotiating supplier contracts, managing program implementation, and finding opportunities to increase efficiencies and standardize processes. The OS&E Sourcing Manager will work closely with corporate and property stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing programs.
The OS&E Sourcing Manager must have expertise in strategic sourcing, project management and contract negotiations specifically in hotel, food & beverage, marketing, and gaming supply categories, acting as the category subject matter expert.- Lead strategic sourcing efforts for all operating supply related categories required by Boyd Gaming and its properties,
- Develop and execute long-term sourcing strategies for operating supply categories, collaborating with leadership to establish annual savings targets,
- Conduct in-depth financial, market, and spend analysis for assigned categories with the ability to quickly find trends and discrepancies,
- Lead supplier relationship management, including supplier engagement, monitoring and reporting compliance, resolving conflicts and service level issues, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities,
- Develop and issue comprehensive, consolidated RFP’s, RFI’s, etc.,
- Negotiate, write, and execute supplier contracts with proper terms and conditions for assigned projects,
- Develop and complete projects based on established timelines,
- Must effectively communicate procurement program requirements and status with team members and stakeholders, with the ability to build trust and influence change,
- Must have an excellent understanding of operating protocols and guidelines; ensuring minimum standards are applied to projects and properly documented,
- Must effectively manage cross-functional resources to guarantee the sourcing strategy is properly executed in a timely manner,
• Effectively deals with conflict inherent in procurement operations between suppliers and stakeholders,
