- Prepare employee communication packets and materials for client teams (paper and electronic)
- Printing/binding/packet assembly
- Open enrollment and new hire guide creation
- On-line presentation creation
- Update benefits management system with final plan selections and rates.
- Maintain client files in compliance with PSF standards
- Provide backup employee advocacy services as needed
- Carrier interaction
- Learn insurance company products; develop relationships with carrier representatives; attend carrier new product launches and industry meetings
- Scheduling cariier on-site and virtual meetings
- Update/maintain carrier flyers/annual updates and information
- Run weekly/monthly team meetings, take and distribute notes.
- Assist other departments on approved projects (i.e. analyst tracking, etc.)
- Monitoring service and project email inboxes, project assignment and email distribution from general benefits in-box.
- Contract reviews.
- Peer reviewing others work.
- Other projects as requested/assigned.
- College degree preferred
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism to the marketplace, industry, prospective and current clients.
- Strong, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong professional writing and communication skills.
- Must have good math skills.
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once while working with multiple people.
- Must obtain a current life and disability insurance license.
- Interest in learning the employee benefits business.
- Attend industry events and education opportunities to keep knowledge fresh and up to date.
