401(k) Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge and command of the employee benefits industry and recent updates/legislation/changes
- Establish and maintain good, professional relationships with employer and client (recordkeeper) contacts
- Educate employees on all aspects of their 401(k) or other qualified retirement plan
- Demonstrate composure in presenting to small/medium sized audiences

Do you have Group Health and or/ Medicare experience? If you are a Group Health expert or have a wealth of knowledge in Medicare - then we have a position for you! These positions are contractor (W-2) roles for short-term temporary assignments. The assignments are on an “as needed” basis, and client demand for assignments varies throughout the year. English speaking and bilingual experts are needed to conduct employee meetings, webinars and benefit fairs nationwide.
- Please note – To be considered, you must have either Group Healthor Medicare experience. If you’re well versed in both, it’s a plus! To qualify for Medicare benefits education assignments, you must hold an active Health/Accident/Sickness state insurance license. You must pass a complete background check including DMV records and drug testing. You will be engaged through TCWGlobal, a staffing agency that works with TBC to identify qualified contracting candidates, but assignments will come from TBC.
Group Health/Medicare Responsibilities
- Be knowledgeable of the employee benefits/Medicare industry including recent industry updates/legislation/changes, etc.
- Establish and maintain good, professional relationships with TBC’s client companies’ contacts
- Educate client company employees/retirees on all aspects of their health plan and/or ancillary benefits
- Be comfortable presenting to small and medium size groups of people including Q&A sessions Complete client company required certifications, if applicable (Medicare Only)
Requirements for 401(k) and/or Group Health
- For Health only - bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
- For Retirement only - must be bilingual with English and one of these languages: Tagalog, Mandarin, Spanish, or Hmong
- 3+ years of experience explaining employee benefits with a background in benefits, finance/investments, and/or health insurance
- Personal laptop with a webcam
- Have an active residential Health/Accident/Sickness state insurance license (Medicare Specific)
- Medicare benefits experience is preferred but not required
- Flexible schedule with the ability to take short notice assignments
- Able to work in an indoor or outdoor environment
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft PowerPoint experience
- Experience with presenting via telepresence (webinar) technology desired
- Ability to occasionally move boxes of training materials up to 20lbs and present in person for extensive periods of time
- Ability to travel up to 200 miles and/or travel by air to other states is a plus

The minimum assignment rate is $225 per meeting, or $35 per hour, whichever is greater. This position will be engaged through TCWGlobal, and certain benefits may be available including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off as solely determined by TCWGlobal. TCWGlobal is a staffing agency. Contractors engaged through TCWGlobal are not employees of TBC, Ascensus or any of their affiliates or subsidiaries.
