Position Overview: As a Bench Jeweler at Ancona Jewelers, you'll be integral to the craftsmanship and creativity that our brand is known for. Based in our Addison showroom, your primary responsibility will involve the detailed work of jewelry restoration. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced professional who holds a deep appreciation for the art of jewelry making, with at least five years of bench jeweler experience required.

Key Traits and Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate exceptional skill in jewelry repair and restoration, breathing new life into each piece with meticulous attention to detail.

· Evaluate and diagnose jewelry items, formulating repair or restoration strategies that align with our commitment to excellence.

· Serve as a vital resource for our customer service team, offering insights unique to a bench jeweler's expertise.

· Uphold the pristine condition of your workspace and equipment, mirroring the high standards we set for our jewelry.

Qualifications:

· A proven track record with at least 5 years of bench jeweler experience.

· Mastery in a variety of techniques, including polishing, finishing, soldering, resizing, and precision stone setting across diverse gem types and cuts.

· Proficiency with advanced tools, such as laser welders, ensuring modern solutions complement time-honored craftsmanship.

· Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within our creative team.

· A flexible and progressive approach to adopting new methods and technologies within the jewelry field.
