Job description

General Description:
This position will be responsible for driving CCI's Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success. CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI's mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development
companies. The Camp Manager tracks coming and going of personnel for attendance records and for billing purposes, as well as handles all maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the Beluga camp. 2x2 ROTATION, for 2024 Summer/Fall BRU Drilling Season-

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  • Ensure a safe work environment.
  • Participate in CCI's safety programs by staying up to date with the online training modules in Virtual Training Assistant (EHS). Review and comply with the various Client's safety programs.
  • Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Coordinate and supervise tasks according to priorities and plans.
  • Ensure daily attendance sheet accuracy and submittal to office.
  • Update room assignments and coordinations as needed.
  • Take care of general repairs to camp [carpentry, plumbing, electrical] and grounds.
  • Ensure trash disposal twice weekly.
  • Water testing and maintenance [filter replacement, water softener care, sending in water samples as required by ADEC], as well as septic care and maintenance.
  • Emergency light inspections monthly, along with fire alarm system care and upkeep.
  • Coordination and assistance with any repairs needed for camp by third party companies.
  • Expedition of deliveries and mail from airport to camp.
  • Supplies upkeep and ordering for camp.
  • Ensure food service is held to client standards and that occupants of camp are pleased with service.
  • Successfully creating viable solutions when handling variations and scope of work changes. Problem-solving abilities. Produce schedules and monitor attendance and safety of crew.
  • Understands planning, scheduling and timeline changes due to material or budget changes. Ensure resources are adequate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and possibly severe outside weather conditions. The employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear may be required in some working situations.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A current Cook Inlet Training Standard (CITS) health & safety card or OSHA-10 is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.

6+ years' experience in the oilfield industry is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • MOBILITY: Must be able to access all areas of a construction site. Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
  • HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms and radio communications.
  • VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner.
  • LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
  • RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
