Behavioral Health Technician - Evenings

Pyramid Healthcare in Quakertown is seeking experienced Behavioral Health Technicians to join our amazing team.

Pyramid Quakertown is an Inpatient, Residential treatment center for adults with Substance Use Disorders. The Behavioral Health Technician is an integral part of our daily operations and our clients well being. We are currently hiring for Full Time 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and weekend availability. Typical work schedules would be either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Starting wage: $14 USD Per Hour. Eligible for Shift Differential.

Deliverables:

• Assist with intake process with new clients into program.
• Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Mandatory bed checks conducted as required per department, complete bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
• Ensures client schedule is being followed daily.
• Assisting with interventions with clients.
• Monitor medication line.
• Transports clients to meetings and recreation.
• Responsible for conducting searches of clients when they return back to the facility.
• Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input.
• Distributing client snacks as needed.
• Trains new staff on unit, program, and milieu.
• Helps with upkeep of facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license preferred.
