Salary Description: From $15.00 an hour
- Department: Adult Psych
- Schedule: PRN - Minimum 48 hours per 6 week schedule committment required. Holiday rotation.
- Hospital: Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center
- Location: Indianapolis, IN
Provide direct Behavioral Health patient care.
- Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
- Provide or assist with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
- Observe and record patient behavior and activities. Report any changes in condition and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
- Establish a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Previous Patient Care experience; previous psych experience;
