SalaryBeginner's Edge Sports Training is searching for Behavioral Health Technicians to instuct Sports Classes specifically for children with autism. This will be a mu0lti-sport program where kids can exercise and gain exposure to a variety of sports and athletic activities. If you are an athlete, educator, just enjoy working with children this is a perfect fit for you.
Ideal Candidates:
- Experience working with children on the autism spectrum
- Love working with children as much as they love all sports!

- Works well in a team setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Loud and energetic
- Well-rounded in sports
- Extremely reliable and punctual
- 1 year experience teaching or youth coaching experience (preferred)
- Looking for a part-time
Requirements:
- Have or be willing to obtain Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card before starting date
- Be willing to complete CPR and First Aid certification before starting date
- Be able to commit to weekly schedules
- Be able to stand and walk for at least 1-hour increments
- Be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 lbs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement curriculum-based activities for multiple sports, including but not limited to: Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Track, Football, and Volleyball.
- Reliably transport and set up provided sports equipment
- Instruct sports-based activities with an emphasis on skills advancement
- Ensure activities are conducted in a safe and organized manner
- Maintain attendance records of groups
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary play area and facility
Hours:
Saturday mornings 9-11:30 am
