Come join our team as a Behavioral Health Associate, at Ohio Hospital For Psychiatry! We are looking for individuals who are passionate about Behavioral Health. We are an inpatient facility, our facility caters to adolescents and adults struggling with mental and Behavioral Health, and substance abuse. You will spend your shift with the patients as they go through their schedule, interacting and observing while making sure the patients are safe.
At Ohio Hospital For Psychiatry we specialize in working with adolescents experiencing Mental Health and Behavioral Health Issues.
Experience working in an in-patient setting required.
- Shift Available: 2nd 3pm-11pm or 3rd 11pm-7am
- Shift differentials
- up to $22/hr with evening, overnight, and weekend shift differentials
Behavioral Health Associate responsibilities:
- · Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
- · Responsible for conducting safety checks and ensuring that supervision is conducted at 15 minute intervals.
- · Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record.
- · Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
- · Engage patients in interactions, group therapy and activities designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals and increase therapeutic coping skills.
- · Complete and maintain required documentation. Complete paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place on the unit.

Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check with no felonies
- Experience in an inpatient setting preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
