The Child Development Center seeks a dedicated, compassionate, and team-oriented employee to provide one-on-one teaching and support to a child or teen with autism. If this sounds like a good fit for you, we currently have a full-time opportunity available in our Learning Center.
Job Details: As a Behavior Technician, you would be trained in the evidence-based strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), an asset in this fast-growing field.
Activities may include:
(1) Being silly or goofy in front of peers or parents
(2) Playing on the floor, getting up and down
(3) Receiving daily feedback and support from supervisors
(4) Supporting children with challenging behavior
(5) Implementing skill building, one-on-one with children
Qualifications:
Basic requirements:
(1) high school diploma or GED
(2) valid MT driver’s license & insured vehicle
(3) ability to pass background checks
Preferred qualifications:
(1) Experience, background, or interest in working with people who have autism (While experience is preferred, it is not required; paid training will be provided.)
