Behavior Technician

Duties:

- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment goals
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to create and modify treatment plans
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and assist with diagnostic evaluations
- Monitor and document client's response to interventions and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder preferred
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and interventions
- Experience in data collection and analysis
- Understanding of special education practices and principles
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families
